Liv just wants her best friend Bex to find love.

Bex just wants to stay in bed with Outlander.

With 40 just around the corner, divorced, single mom Bex is too busy being a chauffeur for her teenage daughter to bother swiping for dates.

Her best friend Liv, who is married to the supposedly perfect man, swoops in from London on a mission to get Bex out of her own bed and into someone else’s. Liv pushes Bex into a week-long whirlwind of dates, awkward kisses and missed connections.

What could possibly go wrong when Bex agrees to Liv’s harebrained scheme of saying Yes to every possible suitor? And why is Liv so intent on fixing Bex’s love life, or lack thereof?

Just what do you find out when all of your no’s turn into The Yes Factor?

Amazon Worldwide:

Growing up can change everything – your relationships, what you want, how long it’s been since you’ve had a heart to heart with your best friend. Bex is living in LA with her teenage daughter Maddie, who’s away for summer camp. She’s tired of the same repetitive loop of trying to find “The One” on social media, but fails at finding the energy to get out there and try to meet someone even though she thinks it’s time.

Her best friend Liv, is in London, living what seems to be the dream with the perfect husband and career, but is it?

On an impulse, Liv flies to LA to force Bex out on a YES girls weekend like they used to with plenty of delightful shenanigans – nightclubs, yoga, bars and parties – nothing can stop these girls! Will she push Bex too far? Or will they find her the perfect match as they rediscover their friendship.

While I was excited to read this title with it’s beautiful cover, at times it fell a bit flat for me – I felt like the yes factor almost went a bit too far, making Liv seem childish and unlikeable. I was all for the plot and the dive into their friendship, but their yes weekend made it seem so rushed and at times a bit unrealistic. Most of the time it was a quick read while the girls were go, go, go but honestly my favorite part of the book was when they weren’t looking for potential boyfriends, but enjoying the antique sales and reconnecting!

I’m hoping book two with Liv kind of gives us the holes in the friendship to pull it all together! Great debut read, thank you Valentine PR for allowing me to read and review this title! I would recommend anyone looking for a story about longtime friendship with some romance, head over to Goodreads and add it to your want to read list NOW!
