Have your tissues ready!

A longtime reader and lover of anything Debbie Macomber writes, I was thrilled to receive an ARC of her newest title, A Walk Along the Beach. This particular title has it all – family, love, drama, and tears all wrapped up in an emotional story.

Willa has been taking care of her family since her mother died. Her sister, Harper is her roommate and closest friend, in remission from cancer.

In addition, Willa runs the local coffee shop, Bean There, where she meets Sean, a photographer who quickly captures her heart. His work and her schedule, and unexpected responsibilities for her family make it hard for them – how will the couple overcome obligations and being apart?

The characters and their relationships, how they pull together through their losses is something Macomber always does well. This title had a beautiful ending, I especially enjoyed the second half of the book! I give this title 4.5 stars!

Thank you to Netgalley & Random House Publishing Group – Ballantine for allowing me to read this advance reader copy in exchange for my honest review, I’m already looking forward to her holiday title, Jingle All the Way, that releases in October!
